Die Zuwendung Gottes feiern

In seiner Dissertation von 2015 untersucht Markus Roth die Gottesdienst-Theologie bei Martin Luther, Oswald Bayer und Paul Tillich als Beitrag zu einer fundamentalliturgischen Praxis. Dabei versteht er Gottesdienst-Theologie als eine Praxistheorie innerhalb innerhalb einer multiperspektivischen Wahrnehmung des Gottesdienstes. In Aufnahme der Theologie Luthers und Bayers sieht er das Zentralwort einer evangelischen Gottesdienst-Theologie nicht wie Oswald Bayer im Zuspruch, sondern – erweitert - in der «Zuwendung Gottes». In Aufnahme der Gedanken Paul Tillichs interpretiert er die Zuwendung Gottes im Gottesdienst als zuerst passivisches Dasein in personaler, sakramentaler und mystischer Dimension. He understands theology of worship as a theory of practice in the context of a multi-perspective perception of worship. In considering the theology of Luther and Bayer the author sees the “devotion of God” as the key term of a Protestant theology of worship. Taking into account the ideas of Paul Tillich he interprets the devotion of God in worship as an initially passive existence in a personal, sacramental and mystic dimension.
