Die religionspädagogische Relevanz des Begriffs der Verantwortung bei Georg Picht
Innerhalb der Dissertation stehen zunächst die Erarbeitung, Charakterisierung und Systematisierung dreier Leitmotive im Zusammenhang mit Georg Pichts Rede von Verantwortung. Die Tragfähigkeit der drei Leitmotive »gelebte Tradition«, »Ermöglichung des Sinnes für das Zukünftige« und »Wahrnehmung dessen, was nottut« als Analyseinstrument werden im Hinblick auf ausgewählte Schriften geprüft und bieten zugleich ein Kontrastmittel, das Pichts Schulleitertätigkeit und sein religionsphilosophisches Schaffen als Philosophie im Vollzug der Verantwortung auf der Grundlage »der Magna Carta des Neuen Testamentsq schärfer hervortreten lässt. Georg Pichts lebenslanges Bedürfnis, Theorie und Praxis als notwendig zu verbindende Grundlage für das menschliche Leben zu verstehen, wird damit in gleicher Weise dargestellt wie im Folgenden die Praxistauglichkeit des so genannten Dreischritts für ein Reden von Verantwortung in Hinblick auf drei konkrete Unterrichtsvorhaben für die gymnasiale Oberstufe.

Within the dissertation the initial focus is put upon the elaboration, characterization and systematization of three leitmotifs in connection with Georg Picht’s speech on responsibility. The sustainability of the three leitmotifs »lived tradition«, »enabling the sense of the future« and »perception of what is necessary« as an analytical instrument are examined with regard to selected writings, at the same time offering a contrast medium that makes Picht’s school principal activity and his religious-philosophical work stand out more clearly as a philosophy in the exercise of responsibility on the basis of »the Magna Carta of the New Testament«. Georg Picht’s lifelong need to understand theory and practice as an inevitably connected basis for human life is presented in the same way as in the following the practical suitability of the so-called three-step for speaking about responsibility in view of three specific teaching projects for upper secondary school.
